“We really enjoyed our stay at Anubanwatsakaeo. We felt very welcome at the school and called a very nice accommodation our home for three weeks. We just loved to be around wit the caring Thai and philippine Teachers. We got the chance to experience the real Thai life and everybody tried to make our time very special and wonderful. It was a great experience to teach the Thai kids in English and to see, how much they appreciated it, even if it was sometimes challenging. We joined a lot of activities and meals in our free time with the Teachers . We visited nice places in the wonderful natural Sakaeo Province and even further places. We liked the town Sakaeo and had many restaurants and possibilities to shop pretty close by the school. We loved to visit the night market on Wednesdays and Fridays. They are offering awesome and cheap Thai food . We wanna say “Kop kun ka” and “Kop kun kap” to the school, the teachers and the kids. Thanks to everyone who made us this unique experience in our lifes!

“My first day was a very humbling experience, with Jason and other teachers providing me with everything I could possibly want, including bottled water, food and extra items they thought I would need - Introducing me to the students and giving me a schedule for my classes. Even the school cook happily went out of her way to accommodate my dietary requirements. I really knew immediately that everyone was extremely grateful for my being here. Meeting the children was also a lovely experience. They are friendly, polite and respectful and never miss an opportunity to meet and greet with a resounding “hello, teacher” or “good morning/afternoon teacher”. In class they are attentive and want to learn, which does make the job easier despite the language barrier. Of course they get a bit chatty from time to time but they are just kids.”

“The thing that impressed me the most is the warm welcome and the friendly treatment I received straight away, since the moment I became part of Watputhisan School. I also have been struck by the kid’s smiles; their passion and enthusiasm helped me a lot and made me feel welcome and not away from home at all. Definitely an awesome experience, really motivating, eyes opening and so much fun, despite of the big amount of patience and self control required. I recommend it to everybody, especially to who wishes to put himself at the test, discovering something new and live in a such a different environment, culture and customs; if you feel willing to help less fortunate people in the other side of the world without the involvement of money or forced donations, this is the place for you!”
